# Landing refers to the action of coming down onto the ground.
# It's crucial to remember that takeoff can be optional, but landing is always mandatory.
# Basic landing procedures include planes, jets, helicopters, spacecraft, air balloons, and parachutes.
Time of Landing
# Day Time Landing => Generally considered easier to Land
# Night Time Landing => To Land using the lights available on the runway.
Pattern of Landing
# Hard Landing => To Land with greater vertical speed.
# Soft Landing => To Land with gentle speed.
Types of Landing
# Runway => Paved surface on which Planes typically Land.
# Touch and Go => To Land by coming to a full stop and then taking off again from the start of the runway.
# Water Landing => To Land Planes on water in emergency situations, as depicted in the movie "Sully."
# Crosswind Landing => To land planes, pilots correct for wind drift when the wind is blowing across rather than parallel to the landing direction.
# Touchdown => The gentle settling of Planes onto the Landing surface occurs at the minimum controllable airspeed.
# Helicopter / Jet / Air Balloon => Vertical Landing = Departing, Hovering and Landing Vertically.
# Splashdown => To Land a Spacecraft in water, a Parachute is used.
# Parachute => Parachute Landing Fall => Parachutist to Land safely with controllable speed to avoid deadly injuries.
# Ship => To Land a Ship, various methods such as anchoring, mooring, and docking are used.
Anchoring => Dropping a heavy object attached to the Ship into the water, which latches onto the seabed with hooks and suction to keep the Ship in a fixed place.
Mooring => Tying the Ship to a fixed object, such as a buoy (navigation mark).
Docking => Using ropes and knots to secure the Ship to the dock, pulling the Ship as parallel as possible.

தமிழில் விமானம், கப்பல், விண்கலம், ஹெலிகாப்டர், பாராச்சூட் உட்பட பல்வேறு வகையான போக்குவரத்து வாகனங்களுக்கும் Landing என்றால் தரையிறக்குதல் / இறக்குதல் / நிலத்திற்கு கொண்டு வருதல் எனப்படும். துள்ளி குதித்து உயர பறந்தாலும் தரைக்கு வந்து தானே ஆகணும்.
